“The Neon Cowboy is a fabulous place to stay! So much room, (we had 15 people) plenty of comfortable beds and best of all…THE NEON! It is an older house in an older neighborhood, & while it’s not much to behold on the outside, don’t let appearances fool you. The owner has gone out of their way to make this a fun and entertaining home. There are neon touches and “selfie walls” everywhere and very tastefully done. We loved it. “My twirling group and their moms traveled to Colorado for a competition. The property was spacious with a lot of room. We appreciated the 4 bathrooms with several teenage girls with us. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. Kitchen well enough equipped to cook, plenty of living space, nice outdoor space, and plenty of parking. Comfy beds with plenty of pillows and blankets. Would definitely recommend for any size group!”

“We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! The outside fire pit was a real hit! The kitchen had everything we could ever possibly need. The neighborhood was gorgeous, so private, wooded and serene. We didn’t see a moose but that’s simply a reason to come back again! ”

“Minor “hiccup” on check-in was resolved quickly. We have stayed in Estes “proper” before. It’s nice but you don’t really feel like you’re ever out of the “rat race” that we go on vacation to get away from. This place solves that problem tenfold. Far enough out to be away from it all but close enough to go into town if that’s your scene. We will be staying here again, if it’s available, when we come back to Colorado. ”

“We were visiting our son and daughter in law and planned a ski weekend. The house is very interesting and incredibly well appointed. Very comfortable beds, fabulous kitchen. Very close to Eldora. Randy was so easy to work with. You’ll love staying there”

“Great home, great location, and the owner was super responsive. I would definitely recommend staying at this home. ”

“House was great. Only cleanliness issues were with several of the pot/pans which appeared to be cleaned via the dishwasher which left them greasy and unclean (and the dishwasher had greasy residue too). The outdoor grill needed cleaning (lots of debris in the bottom). Location was very convenient to downtown but was 1/2 block from railroad tracks. Trains came by at night/early morning and were loud. ”

"Everything was great, except for the toilet in my room, which took 5 minutes to stop refilling the water tank. The noise was disturbing. The front desk staff verified the issue around 2:00 am but couldn’t fix it, and no room change was available. I had to use the toilet three more times that early morning, which was particularly troublesome at night. Additionally, the coffee machine dispensed hairs when I tried to get hot water, making me concerned about using it for coffee. I reported these issues, and the gentleman at the front desk took my mobile number, assuring me that the manager would contact me within two days. However, two weeks have passed, and I have not been contacted. Overall, it was not a good experience, but it might be only associated with that room."
