“We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed.
We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and……

“The apartment was nice and clean and the stay was very comfortable, the only negative was the door to the apartment slammed whenever you closed it and one of the permanent residents of the building complained to me about it. ”

Great location, very near to Farnborough Main train station, and 20 mins walk to Farnborough North. Also very close to the Meads shopping centre with many shops and restaurants.
Rooms facing the road might hear more noise from cars passing by.
It would be better if the bath tub is changed to shower to avoid water splashing on the floor,……

“Easy check in online prior to arrival. Was welcomed by friendly staff and were shown straight up to our room and advised on the evening meal options. Had dinner in the restaurant which was good, and a range of local beer was available.
Room was very comfortable with usual drink options plus a coffee machine. Good options on the breakfast menu, which was delicious. ”

The room was comfortable, breakfast bits provided and the shower facilities although not ensuite were at hand and served me well. I would stay again.”

Proximity of our bedroom door to the pub’s toilets, with urinals in full view, was a little off putting, though no issue with noise.
For our 3-day stay there was not sufficient clothes hanging space or drawers, the wardrobe being a small half height space shared with the kettle & coffee machine. We had to live out of our suitcase.
Breakfast was adequate but not outstanding given the B&B rate.”
