“It was clean, had several restaurants to choose from, friendly staff. This was an excellent choice. Oh the Breakfast was sooo goood. The drinks at the swim up bar. ”

“We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel.”

“Nice place, large grounds. We didn’t even have time to make all the trails and walk around the entire property. We spent most days at the beach and the pools. Even the locals were nice on the beach. Plenty of things to do, for all ages.”

“The staff and service was excellent. Very attentive and positive attitude and fun service. The activities process was confusing and were cancelled last minute, that was a little disappointing and can be improved. We had the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were good.”

“We had an amazing stay at Occidental Papagayo! The resort grounds were beautifully maintained, and we really loved how everything was laid out. Although there’s a shuttle available, we only used it for check-in and check-out since everything felt conveniently close. Our premium bay room was perfect—the view was absolutely breathtaking.
