“The hotel was under a major renovation as of Oct 2023. The rooms were dated, which is okay. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable. There wasn't much offered for the complimentary breakfast. I am sure this place will be a nice place to stay when finished. This hotel is a bargain compared to the surrounding area hotels.”

Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep. “This hotel is under an exterior renovation but the interior was freshly renovated and in very nice condition and clean. They provided free breakfast and dinner buffet along with 3 drinks from the bar. ”

The desk clerk seemed a little scattered, but he was friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. One entrance to the parking lot is in serious need of repaving.
