“Omg!!! The Highlands Ranch Resort is a hidden gem!! Gorgeous surroundings, 10 min drive outside Lassen Volcanic NP. The individual cottages with fireplaces, heated tiled bathroom floors, the most comfortable bed and bedding! In the morning light snow was falling - breath taking views! Our dinner and drinks in the main lodge with a roaring fire was 5 star!! This place is a must!! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! “The house pretty much matched the photos and it was an easy and smooth check-in process and check-out process (even though we were asked to strip beds and start the load, I think this is going a bit far to ask guests to do-- stripping beds, yes, maybe, but at a certain point what is the cleaning fee for?).The kitchen was nice and spacious as was the dining table.
