“The renovation is a great addition to downtown.”

“The smoking table for staff was right outside the entry way, so we had to walk right through the cigarette smoke to get into the lobby. It gave the place a trashy feel that was not reflective of the hotel itself. The staff was great.”

“Love the location! Disliked the elevator not working and the we were on the 4th floor…. Luggage was a nightmare. Our room had one toilet paper roll and no one to call for more, they charge for towels to be switched out. Was not that impressed with Rimfire. ”

“The setting is most charming with incredible mountain scenery. The complex is compact allowing a short walk to any of the amenities. The staff at the restaurants are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back and will recommend to family and friends. ”

“What a nice find. We've been to West Virginia for years with family roots. When this property showed up or Hotels.com, it was a pleasant surprise. Very quaint and cozy on a quiet street on the banks of the Elk River in Braxton Co., WV. Called to check on us as we were running late, offered to hold the Cafe open for dinner. Escorted to your room. The history of it's old period construction with new touches is really cool. Bed comfy, quiet night. We intend to stay again. ”
