“The property is beautifully decorated, which added to the relaxing vibe. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans, so i was able to make wonderful meals for my partner. Target was under 15 minutes away, so it was easy to stock up on food and snacks. We had to most wonderful time.”

“My husband and two of our sons and their wives stayed here for an extended Thanksgiving get together. Each couple traveled approximately six hours from different directions . We were aware that this was a very secluded area and we were fine with that. Played a lot of pickleball and took walks on empty roads. Went in to Old Town Winchester for shopping and dining one day. Only about fifteen minutes and lots to see and do.If you’re looking for a real getaway, this place is great.”

“A Hidden Gem! Vicki and Doug were exceptional hosts, thinking of everything you could possibly want or need for an amazing stay. We highly recommend this property!We live in the heart of DC and were looking for a staycation that was close to home, on the water and full of nature. We had bald eagles flying by our bedroom window and our Merlin app was alerting us to a wide array of birds (some classified as rare) all singing to us. “This is a cute home lovingly decorated. Quite well-stocked kitchen although there are no measuring cups or measuring spoons. A cute coffee bar is set up and coffee is provided. There is a supply of soaps, detergents, paper towels and tp provided which is very nice. Beds were comfy, smart thermostat is great. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked inviting. We were told that firewood was provided but there was only one Duraflame-type starter log and two other small logs there, so bring your……
