“This hotel was gorgeous! We arrived late so we didn’t spend any time around the area so I'm not sure how that is. I will say it is very loud especially at night outside. I swear the same car kept driving back and forth on the street outside of our room and it was SO loud that was the only thing we weren’t happy with. ”

“Lovely set of converted Row houses with updated amenities and bathrooms but keeping the older charm of each unit. There are inside parlor rooms with porches as well as outside smaller rooms rumoured to be the place Edgar Allen Poe wrote the Raven. Lovely seating areas inside and outside in courtyards with fountains, greenery and complete safety. Anabelle the Cat owns the entire place and intermingled with guests of her choosing. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Restaurant is closed but hopes to……

“I’m not much of a traveler yet, but this hotel really went above what I expected considering the charge for the stay. Will most definitely recommend to friends and family. Cleanliness, staff, decor, everything was A1. If you’re tired of the bleak, standard hotel decor, come to Moxy. In Richmond VA particularly, it’s perfectly situated in downtown, surrounded by everything an out of towner might be interested in, including a large parking garage directly next to the hotel. “This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We enjoy the cleanliness of the hotel and room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was spacious, clean and water pressure was good. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy to walk or Uber to lots of restaurants, bars and attractions. The pool and hot tub were clean and towels well stocked. The temperature of the water was a bit uncomfortable though. The pool was a little too cold and the hot tub too hot to really enjoy for……

“We had a great stay. Everyone was helpful and very friendly. I wish I had names, but we checked in the and the young gentleman grabbed us a cart and went to our car and helped us with the luggage. He also brought everything to our room. I think he also was the valet at that time. The night time valet was super great!!! The hotel is very nice and we had a great stay. ”
