“This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……

“The hotel is about to be renovated so not top ratings for the room but the staff and the food were superb”

“Hall Garth was a visit we looked forward to. The mapping App couldn’t find it easily and tried to locate it in the village the opposite side of the A1M, once we’d returned and crossed over Google maps insisted on trying to get us into the top end of the property (near the spa) which we ignored and finally found our way in. The hotel is lovely and the premises are fine, we had a larger room which unfortunately was a real trek through the buildings to reach. However comfortable room and quiet we……
