“This was a great hotel however during the 2 nights we were there the only elevator they had kept having issues. It didn’t bother me but someone I was with could not do steps with luggage. “Great adult hotel. I was traveling alone and it was perfect. There were a lot of adult couples and older family groups staying there and it is a perfect sunny retreat. My kids wouldn’t have loved the pool area, it’s for cocktails not cannonballs! I found the hallways noisy until past midnight, during the week. It’s a fun hotel - I definitely would have liked a white noise machine.”

“Wonderful hotel next to the pulsating King Street. Excellent room, great breakfast and a fantastic roof top bar. Parking available more or less in the same building as the hotel. I hope to make it back, great base for exploring Charleston, walking distance to a great deal of “must see” places.”

“The Francis Marion hotel is a beautiful historic hotel in Charleston, SC! Every member of their staff was so kind, helpful, and happy! The room was just the right size! The bathroom was a little small. We stayed in a 2-bedroom queen. The views from our room were beautiful! We walked EVERYWHERE! King St is in a great location! There is a free bus that stops right by the hotel! I would recommend parking at a nearby lot that we found out was free on our last day! The parking garage is not……
