“Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. ”

“Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. “My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well.……

“Quiet and peaceful ”

“A very clean, well equipped and comfortable condo. We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed our stay. The private balcony overlooking the lake was a nice amenity as was the hot tub which was clean and well maintained. Easy walk to a nice hiking trail, shop for necessities and bar/restaurant. A family with small kids was staying below and they appreciated the short walk to a park with a playground as well ”
