“The Monarch is an affordable hotel located right in the heart of Oldtown. The main pool/hot tub area is lovely with lush greenery and a lively outdoor bar on site. The guest rooms were clean and functional, but a bit outdated. The wall mounted TV was very small & looked like a computer monitor. The outdoor balcony was a nice feature, but an awkward shape...not enough space for patio furniture (or even a chair to sit down). So guests can only stand up on the balcony to enjoy the view.”

“My husband and I booked this property for a short 2-night stay in Scottsdale before catching a flight home in Phoenix and I am very glad we did! The hotel itself was super nice, with ample parking below (that did cost extra), and a bar/restaurant. We did not eat the breakfast as we had other plans, so no comments on that. We did enjoy the pool area for a bit, which was quiet and even had some lawn games (dart board, connect 4, etc). Tim, the front desk manager I believe, was super nice and……
