“Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment.”

“Terrific views of Onancock Creek in a private and idyllic location. We loved sitting on the creek bank or on the dock watching boats come and go to Onancock Marina. Peaceful, quiet and tranquil setting yet only 10 minutes away from Onancock. We will be back!”

“My wife and our 2 dogs stayed for a week to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary.The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a weeks stay.We spent our time fishing crabbing and exploring the property. We made a couple day trips to Virginia Beach and Chincoteague to see the wild ponies. It was a great vacation!The host Ellen was very hospitable and provided fresh eggs and suggestions for activities.Our favorite part of our stay was the host doggie Birdy! She was so sweet to……
