“Owners were amazing and the property was old school hawaiian. The lush property and drive down papaya farms road was incredible! Couldnt have asked for better place to stay!”

“Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. ”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how spiritual, restful and wonderful it was staying at the Enchanted Rainforest Hideaway! Connie and Andrew were the best hosts ever! The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and private!! Connie met me upon arrival and reviewed everything with me. It is the most restful place I have ever stayed in on a trip. The coqui frogs are very soothing to listen to as you fall into your slumber every night. There is a little black cat, that I think lives next……

“It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all”

“Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs”

“This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The……

“The place was beautiful and so clean! It was small, but seemed spacious enough and was nice and private. It also had everything you’d need to keep groceries and cook a meal since it’s a bit of a jaunt to “civilization.” Keith was friendly when you’d see him around, but not super responsive to messages. ”

“This was a great Hawaiian home! It was cute & unique. My kids loved it. We ate meals and lounged on the porch daily. Everyone loved the outdoor showers. Highly recommend for those looking to immerse themselves in the Hawaiian vibe!”

“The pretty, jungle setting was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The road into the property was full of potholes, the canvas car canopy was loaded with black mold (that was near the open bathroom window,) the bathroom floor had large cracks in it (we could see the dirt beneath the cottage,) the shower ran hot/cold, the kitchen chairs were hard. We paid for 3 weeks, but only stayed 4 nights. When we asked for more toilet paper, we were given only one roll. The bathtub plug did not work on the……
