“Lots of flair, well thought out property with nice extras (bug spray, cooler for day use etc). This was our ‘home base’ for visiting the east side of the island and it worked well as a place to sleep. Room is in a neighborhood area with a rural feel. Relaxing frogs and birds to keep one company. Great communication from the manager. Would recommend as an affordable place to stay when doing full day trips in the area. ”

“Nice quiet area. Enjoyed the orange and lemon trees. Birds, frogs and bugs were quite noisy but could barely be heard when the house was closed up. A gallon pitcher, funnel and juicer would be helpful. ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. As a rule, we vary our travel -- camping, cruises, etc. -- and often rent a home. The views from this home are outstanding and we so enjoyed the dining/living room areas particulary with the near-floor-to-ceiling windows. Huge space, too, for the six of us. One of my pleasures is NOT eating out always. Fun to relax with family, prepare and enjoy a meal. This kitchen was spotless when we arrived and one of the best-equipped ones we've encountered.……

“This is a 10 stay. The house is in a lush gardenic setting in a very quiet neighborhood. Christine was an excellent host and saw to our every need. The house was immaculately, clean with a beautiful upstairs balcony overlooking our lush yard. A wonderful place to have your morning cup of coffee. We stayed a few different places before reaching Christine‘s house, we were so pleased with her place that we canceled reservations elsewhere in order to stay at the lava house. I can confidently say……

“We came to explore the island trails (hiking and snorkeling) and did much driving (1 to 2.5 hours each way a day) and hiking so our time at the rental was limited to sleeping and eating, showering, doing laundry (a fantastic outdoor sink to clean gear) and using the WiFi (great signal). Everything worked well for our needs. We appreciated the owner’s response time to one of our requests and their generosity in supplying masks, snorkels, chairs etc for our water time explorations. “We had a lovely stay! The garden is perfectly serene and secluded. Everything was clean. The outdoor shower is AMAZING. The check-in process was extremely easy, though we did have to reach out to the host to confirm the process. We would have loved sheets on the bed in addition to the blankets. All in all, an absolutely wonderful stay. ”
