“As described: secluded, a much- needed respite; chocolates helped! Coqui’s night calls make me sleep though some might need ear plugs. I spent most evenings under the lanai’s bugless tent (green geckos were allowed:-) and beautiful silver pheqsant(!), Bed, couch, HAMMOCK, shower are big plusses. FYI: a short drive from Hilo past 8am is clear; 3:30 onward competes with schoolbus traffic. “I was in Hilo for one day so the only bummer was I couldn’t stay longer. Beautiful peaceful location. Everything you could need (and more). The attention to detail (down to matching earplugs!) was phenomenal. The aloha is felt and I will be back. Super clean and comfortable. Plentiful parking. Hot water. Great shower. “Even with Vrbo technical difficulties, the hosts were super easy to work with and resolve the issues. The place was clean, in good repair, had excellent views, and was perfect for a few days of relaxing. As soon as you open the back door the sound of the waves crashing and jungle critters puts you at ease. Absolutely loved it! ”

“We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute.
