“This was our second time staying at the moon house, and it was as cozy and clean as ever. Because of our familiarity with the house, it was like coming home. A great place for us to stay when visiting our family in Hotchkiss! ”

“What an amazing little house. It was very nice and they had lots of items there to help. Usually we take all essentials with us dish soap, trash bags, bags, toilet paper etc but all of that was there. It was very quiet and we enjoyed it and the view with plenty of deer. Highly recommend this place. The only thing they didn’t have was a hair dryer. ”

“We had a great stay. The owners were very nice. Unfortunately, they said they received no notification we were coming from VRBO and had to clean up after we arrived. Had the run of the place though and we're able to pick and eat many fresh peaches, apples, and pears. We loved our stay in this quaint, cute little Casita!”

“Great place!!! however the internet was rarely working so watching any tv was not an option since the home does not have cable or satellite service. If you want a convenient place to crash and ski this is a great spot. ”

“This was my best experience so far using a vacation rental. Skyrun has clear instructions for everything and the whole process was easier than a Hotel. All the supplies you would expect at a Hotel were available at Homestead. Homestead is also very centrally located and easy access to the Hwy for all the activities offered in the area. ”

“The main new house is great. Really good living room and kitchen space. A-Frame has a cool rustic vibe that some will really like and might be a bit rustic for others. During the winter I recommend 4wd/AWD. The driveway is pretty rough and not very wide. Great stay. ”

“Great location, clean, beautiful gardens. We were there during a bit of a heat wave and the house only has one swamp cooler in the main room so it was a bit hot… Some fans would be nice. It would also be nice to have a more opaque privacy screen for the second full bed since we were there with friends. But overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again.”

“Our stay was only for 3 nights as we were here on a business trip. Everything was very clean and organized. Host sent very detailed instructions and process was very smooth. Each of us had our own private bedroom. (4 in total) We used the grill and enjoyed the views every morning and night. Hope to make it back! ”

“Lodging is very convenient to most local attractions; within half-hour to 2 hours driving time of Grand Mesa (to north), Uncompahgre forest (to SE), Black Canyon north rim (to SE), Escalante canyonlands (just to NW of Delta), while the Gunnison River flows past just below the entrance to the property. Quiet rural location, but only a few miles from gas, grocery stores, a Walmart (!) even... Cabin is not quite as "tiny" as it sounds, it really does have adequate space, various cooking……
