“This was a surprise gem for Sandwich! Beautiful establishment and helpful, friendly staff. Bed was a little firm for my taste, but I slept well in spite of it! It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but they seemed to be having an issue with the AC. Overall a very nice stay!”

“Nice Facility. Great, helpful staff. Surprised by the Villa Lodge rooms. Very spacious for 5 adults and a toddler. Enjoyed the rural setting. Wildlife in the area. Disappointed by the 'green' lake so no peddle boats or fishing. But that's Mother Nature! :( Many activities to take part in throughout the day and evenings.”

The pool was clean and a place where many guest relaxed after spending time in the nearby parks. Our room was spectacularly clean, the housekeeping definitely takes pride in their work and it shows. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re traveling to starved rock or Matthiessen state parks. ”
