“Places on the ocean have a hard time keeping up with the odd ball maintenance and this place is no exception. Handrails are rough, and the door has big gaps around the frame. That being said, the balcony looks right over the water and that was all i really wanted. ”

“Our family got together here and enjoyed staying together here for spring break. This is a beautiful home with comfort and light. We enjoyed exploring the beach and nearby ancient forests and trails. The owner is very accommodating and helpful.”

“The property was very clean. The location was great and the view is hard to beat. The neighbors are close and there is a little noise from other rooms, but all in all, it was a great place and just as advertised.”

“Where to start? -The janky bathroom door doesn’t close all the way. Imagine being on a romantic getaway and having to have your partner go outside so you can go to the bathroom without them hearing the whole thing. Gross. -Soap dispenser in bathroom was completely dysfunctional. Also gross. -Trying to get a good night’s rest? The carbon monoxide’s low battery alarm started going off at 3am. No batteries on site. The property manual said “the batteries are changed regularly.” Clearly this……

“We checked in and the place was so dirty we didn't sit on anything in there, i will never book through you again. I drove 8 hours and couldnt stay because of the filth and had to find another place myself and wasn't even offered another place”

“The property was not clean. Floors were dirty. Countertops were dirty with food crumbs. Table in living room had food crumbs on the chairs and I think dried milk on the table flaking off. The upstairs shower does not work and there was a pair of men’s Calvin clime underwear under the shower curtain. The blaster bed room had a wonderful view but it has a soft spot on the floor when you walk in and when we pulled the sheets back to lay down there was a blood spot on the sheet.thankfully I was able……

“New bed that was the worst bed I have ever slept on. I actually wanted to leave. The pull out futon was dirty with dog hair, bedding smells like wet dog. Plug in by TV coffee pot was not working. So no not a good stay. Nebors dogs cried, people in hall were loud. You can hear everything outside the rooms. Someone was smoking outside by the doors. And someone on the patio was smoking on back patio. ”

“Nice view of the ocean. Love the back balcony. Nice fireplace. Quiet place to sleep. The music of the waves crashing on the shore is blissful. Always loved hanging out at the Sandstone point hotel. 🙂”

“We came into town to fish for several days. We went on an ocean charter, fished cape meares lake for bass and trout, and fished the Wilson river for Salmon. All within a short distance from this property. There were a couple rainy days and a couple beautiful days. For both we needed a quiet, warm, comfortable place to sleep. This property fit the bill. We will reserve again in the future.”
