“Enjoyed a 70th birthday getaway at the lake. Delightful cabin with slab sawed pecan and walnut tree floors, walls and ceiling. Very comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised we could still handle the very steep loft ladder... Super time to read and enjoy favorite movies. They shared a fun picture album of the family together building the cabin! 👍”

“I’ve stayed at many rentals over the years but never had I stayed where the owner, Gene, was as accommodating as anyone could hope for. What a great person to get to know! Especially great is his willingness in making sure your stay at his property is a fantastic one. If you are looking to relax and get away, truly get away, this rental is perfect and Gene will make sure it is!”

“Disappointed. Drove down from MO and as I’m crossing into Texas get a message over Venmo saying your stays been cancelled and refunded. Host communicated poorly in my opinion. Very disappointed as this place is in a small town and there were zero other options available. ”
