“The Avalon Club resort was such a wonderful place to stay. The suite we stayed at was so spacious, clean , smelled so good and the views were spectacular. They provided beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for us to use for free. It took us a few steps to get to the beach with powdery , fine sand. “Check in was ridiculous. Pull up to find then that I have to get back in the car and drive to a different resort across gulf blvd to check in. While waiting in my car for my husband to check in the guard knocks on my window to question me. Cara everywhere. Property was great except for the bathroom in the front. Toilet was gross. “Avoid this place at all cost. Firstly the place stunk. A wierd smell lingered around the entire time. The AC didnt work either so it was freezing the entire time. Once entering we noticed that they didnt provide the 2 sofa beds that we paid for. “This was a great place for our vacation. As listed in previous reviews, there was a few things that need repaired like the bathroom vents and the sliding glass door, but other than that this was perfect for our family of 4. The pool area was nice, but we did not utilize it much, because we were right on the beach! John’s Pass was just a quick 10 minute walk away. Our teens walked down there regularly as did us adults. “The location was right across the street from the beach, the kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the dining options nearby. The house had everything we needed and it was so convenient having the laundry to wash our wet swimsuits and towels. We had a mishap with the door and the PM responded right away and had a locksmith out quickly to assist. It was a great vacation and we would definitely stay there again! ”

“I traveled alone. The room was perfect for me. The bed was very comfortable. I did not rent a car. There is a restaurant downstairs. Beautiful view. I walked to town and had no issue, felt safe. The only reason I gave it a 4 star, the room had a musty smell but was very clean.”

“This was actually our second stay in this lovely home. Cannot say enough about the attention to detail throughout the house. So many travelers' needs are anticipated by the owners and communication with them is very easy. Also the location could not be better for heading north to Tarpon Springs or south to Honeymoon Island and Clearwater. The Pinellas Trail is literally a block or two from the house as well.
