“Dan’s home (aka Rick’s Place) was absolutely perfect for someone looking for a calm, peaceful and secluded ocean front view. This is the most well stocked home we’ve ever rented. They have everything for you. It is off the beaten path, so for those looking for downtime with the ocean waves crashing in your backyard, then this is the right spot for you. As my wife said as we left, she’s never been more disappointed to leave a rental house behind. ”

“What a wonderful place to stay! The property was so clean and the area was quiet . The views from the deck were superb and it made leaving the house for the day very hard! To swim it’s definitely challenging to enter and exit water but worth the effort ! My parents (75) were not able to get in as the terrain to enter and exit was too treacherous . My sister and I enjoyed the paddle boards and I swam everyday! Make sure to plan ahead as the drive “up the hill” is an event! We would definitely……

“We loved living here! For two incredible weeks, this home was our personal slice of paradise. We lived with the windows and doors open nearly all the time, letting in the breeze, the birdsong, and the peaceful rhythm of the island. Our daughter loved sleeping on the futon on the lanai most nights, falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the sounds of nature.The house was peaceful, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable, restorative stay. “We had such a great time. when some of us wanted to go to the beach and some wanted to stay at the house it went safe and they were content. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We cooked together and there was plenty of room for everyone of the 6 of us.”

“Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling……

“The view from the upstairs deck is so amazing. We brought binoculars and we could see dolphins across the bay. While we were there the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well stocked. I found the photos of the house misleading due to the house being more worn out than is shown in the photos. The bathroom upstairs is small. The setup downstairs is odd. The downstairs rooms are not connected with the upstairs and so families should be aware that those rooms would not work for small……
