“Old Manor House non chain hotel. Therefore traditional values and great service. Rooms as expected not super swish more quirky but comfortable. Room 19 unfortunately (only) has stand in bath shower with no screen which may not suit all. TV was not working but not an issue on one night stay. Food excellent especially breakfast options. ”

“Overall a decent hotel. Cooked breakfasts were particularly nice. Delicious smoked kippers with hard boiled eggs and toast soldiers. Excellent coffee from the coffee machine. Would have liked larger portions of fruit salad and plain yogurt to be offered in breakfast buffet (was provided on request). Bed comfortable. Kettle and fridge very welcome. Room perhaps needed a little more storage space. Climbing into bath perhaps a little difficult for our height - 5 foot 6 inches. Room had air……
