“Thanks to Erich and Suzy for making our short stay as cozy as possible and helping us figure out plans. Between plane delays and terribly rainy weather, our volcano visit was mostly a washout. But the rooms were very cute, the nice big bathroom was helpful to have with all 4 of us, and the breakfast was delish. Thanks again!”

“We stayed for Merrie Monarch and Craft Fair. The home is beautiful. The owners rebuilt from the original home and have added many of their own oersonal touches. The owners live on the first floor. We had the whole second floor, and some other families rented the third floor. There is a full sized kitchen on each floor. Washing machine and dryer are included. The owners have cows, goats, and lambs...and dogs and cats.The view of the farm and Hilo bay cannot be beat. Watching the sunrise every……

“This resort is no longer open, however we were not notified by E prior to arriving onsite after booking well in advance. Luckily the staff were very nice and explained the situation, but we had to make last minute accommodations to stay elsewhere which was not fun after a long day of traveling. Lesson learned: either book directly or confirm bookings outside of Expedia since their notification system is not reliable.”

“If it were only for the spacious, beautifully appointed room with a balcony to watch the sunrise over the Pacific, we’d recommend staying here. If it were only for the incredible lanai featuring a hot tub and a relaxing pool, we’d say go for it. If it were only for Rick and Faith’s warm welcome, infinite resources for ways to spend your time on the island, and bountiful homemade breakfast each morning, we’d say come to enjoy their five star service.
