“This tiny home was a perfect spot for our father/son excursion to the Big Island. It had a fully equipped kitchen which was great for preparing meals. Everything appeared to be brand new and it was immaculate. It is secluded and private and had a great screened in area with fire pit. Communication was perfect, and was needed to find the location. I'd stay here again for sure. It was a great value and very comfortable! ”

“The house is on a 1-acre lush property in a quiet neighborhood set one street back from the ocean. Very convenient location but one should have a vehicle as the neighborhood is enormous and 4 miles to the main road. House was as described but we didn't know up front about the downstairs situation (as Vinnie H. described in May 14, 2024 post). “A nice calm, quiet location (except for the neighbour's constantly barking dog) with a great ocean view. Contact with the owners was minimal and only electronic. Unfortunately there were a couple issues that were not shared with us when we arrived...missing keys and a stove that didn't work and at the best was dangerous to use.”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how spiritual, restful and wonderful it was staying at the Enchanted Rainforest Hideaway! Connie and Andrew were the best hosts ever! The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and private!! Connie met me upon arrival and reviewed everything with me. It is the most restful place I have ever stayed in on a trip. The coqui frogs are very soothing to listen to as you fall into your slumber every night. There is a little black cat, that I think lives next……

“This is definitely something different from most vacation properties. Unfortunately for us, our stay corresponded with a 'kona low' rain storm and so we couldn't take full advantage of uniqueness of the property. In drier weather this could have been a lot of fun, but with constant rain it was only a step up from being stuck in a tent in the rain. The property managers were super friendly and helpful. The kitchenette is basically like camping. Don't plan on cooking much in it.”

“We visited the Big Island for 10 days. Family of 7. House was exactly as advertised. The hosts were quick to respond and very friendly and helpful went above and beyond. House was nicely stocked. Like I said in the title, would stay again A. We love this side of the Big Island.”
