“Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!”

“This place is well situated and has a nice side yard and porch. Close to a river, we went down about 10 min just pulled off the road and the kids played there for a few hours. The house is nice and has plenty of things for cooking. Overall it was great! There were 24 of us.We did have some issues. The place looked like it wasn't tended too often. It was well cleaned!, but maintenance wasn't the best. The washer didn't work, but I'm sure it will be fixed soon. The downstairs tub/shower couldn't……

“First the property was as represented -- this has not always been my experience. It is not exactly close to anything, but then not that far from lots of stuff. We fished in Tenn, one hour; Grandfather Mt, 30 min; Blowing Rock about an hours; drive on Parkway, 10 min.; Little Switzerland, 30 minutes; ate at Louise's Rockhouse, 15 minutes. With gate fell secure leaving stuff at the house when away. Definitely consider renting again.”

“Spent birthday with family and twin sister, including 88 year old mother. Plenty of room to spread out. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Spent much of the time sitting on the back porch which overlooked a small waterfall. A little piece of heaven.”

“This is our 2nd stay. We have enjoyed both times. Cute small cabin with great location. Property manager is great! Will definitely stay again!”

“Loved the location. The house had fun games and entertaining aesthetics. Super cute and pet friendly with pet cages, a bed, etc. Very specious with a mom-n-pops environment. I would have done another check around the living room as we found what looked like previous owner's dog feces on the floor and a mild smell of dog urine by the crate, but otherwise, it was very well organized and clean.”

“Absolutely perfect stay owner was very patient and understanding when We had car trouble and had to do a late check out. Definitely top notch . We will stay again..”

“The cabin was awesome. It accomadated 24 people extremely well with so much space in the kitchen and living room. The location is nicely located being close to Grandfather mountain and having a nice neighborhood and outdoor area to play sports and run. Would 100% recommend if staying with a lot of people.”

“Spacious, clean home nestled in a serene river valley at the base of the highest mountain east of the Mississippi. The house is comfortable enough to never want to leave, but convenient enough to so many fun things to do, you have to venture out. Ramble down the hill to kayak, fish or swim. A quick 20 minute deive to an easy hike in to a waterfall (roaring fork) with the kids. Both Biltmore and Grandfather are within an hour making for easy day trip outings.And Emerald”
