“We came up to Boone to visit our son at App and have stayed at this cottage in 2019. We love the updates and appreciate that they do allow pets as our dog loves the mountains and hiking. We can't wait to return. Thank you for sharing your cabin in the woods with us. ”

“We had a great family weekend rediscovering the area around Sugartop. My wife and I hadn’t been in the area since college days. This condo was the genesis of the trip. I found it on VRBO and decided the family needed to see snow for sure this year. After arriving, my 7 year old was looking out the window and decided she had to try skiing for the first time and so began our adventure to get her a lesson at Sugar the next morning. All of that went well and she’s already asking when we can go back.……

“Property was overall nice. The light/fan in bedroom didn't work. Flower vase at fireplace was broken and leg to chair in living room not connected, but used to prop up chair. The biggest problem was the shuttle service we didn't know we would have to use. We had to park at lots below the condo and use their shuttle service to get back and forth when going to car. It seemed individuals were hired by condo to drive and it was overall just a hassle when trying to go to and from condo. Don't……

“We stayed at this property to be close to family we were visiting. The home was very clean and we appreciated the layout- big kitchen open to the living room. Rocking chairs on the front porch were nice. There was a dog that lived nearby that was on the property/porch whenever we came home. He was very friendly. Heavier blankets would have been nice as the beds only had a sheet and a thin bedspread, no additional linens were in the closets. Overall we would stay here again for the location and……

“It was nice, the drive was definitely nerve wracking on wet roads but my AWD had no trouble making it up there. It was smaller than expected but served is purpose. The beds were SO comfortable but we couldn't get the TV or fireplace to work. The house ladbugs were our favorite! We cooked, sorry and left. ”

“Good experience, nice property. Only issue is that you can’t park at the building during peak times and so you have to get shuttled to your vehicle. So you might not have access to your vehicle without a 15 minute wait”
