“We had a lovely 2 night stay and were able to leave the car at the property as it’s within walking distance of city centre for shopping and dining. It’s 2 min walk up the hill to Branklyn Gardens and tea room. The property is also near to Kinoull Hill and other walks. We found our room to be quiet, very comfortable and had an excellent pre ordered breakfast each morning.”
“There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. ”
“The apartment was in lovely condition and well maintained but what I appreciated most was the host’s responsive communication and kindness. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and stress-free, even calling a cab for us when I had issues with my phone. Highly recommended!”
“Reception wasn’t very welcoming but that was sorted. Restaurant offerings are either a very expensive fine dining experience or a poor quality pub grub with very limited menu. Generally staff very helpful location very good and excellent potential but missing something ”
“Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The entrance area, bar and restaurant were fantastic. The rooms are dated but still acceptable. Our room needed a good clean would be my only major criticism.”
