“Two night stay in early May. Lovely spacious and very clean room with excellent bathroom. Room was on first floor at the front of hotel overlooking the street, some noise but didn’t spoil our stay. It got rather hot during the day as it faced the sun so we kept the curtains closed when we were out. We found Italian air conditioning has restrictions so not sure how troublesome this would be in the summer as it couldn’t be set below low 20’s but room seemed quite a lot warmer than that because of……

“Had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Flaminia. There is no parking at the hotel but for €20 per day you can park outside the town then be brought to the hotel for free on a golf buggy. We had a superior double room which had a view of the lake but no balcony. The breakfast was good and our room was modern and well equipped but the best feature is the fact that you lounge on the terrace and swim in the lake with the ducks straight off the terrace.
