“This historic home was extremely well-furnished with lots of interesting decor and books to look at and a comfy couch. Each room has its own mini-split AC, and could control the temp separately. I loved the design of the kitchen with plenty of supplies for cooking and a coffee pot. The bed was so luxurious and comfy, it was perfect for the overnight stay. “My dogs and I loved our stay at The Latch House Barn! The decor and fittings are top-notch, yet also durable enough to accommodate furry friends. The fenced yard was a very welcome amenity for weary travelers, as was the picturesque, eminently-walkable town of Arrow Rock. Only detractor from a perfect visit was the baffling absence of any toilet paper in any bathroom, or anywhere in the house that I was able to find! A one-off oversight, I’m sure. Would love to stay longer next time, and explore……

“Very nice, large historic home! Kitchen was updated and well stocked. Location was excellent, walking distance to downtown. Bedrooms were large with plenty enough room for all 10 of us. We will be renting again.”

“We came into town to ride the Katy Trail with friends. The property is exactly as described. Located a little bit away from the downtown area but in a neighborhood with kids and families out and about. It was awesome to have the garage for bike storage. The dogs loved the fully fenced yard and the squirrel watching in the large trees. ”

We feel that Jill went above our expectations of what a good host would be and the home was immaculate. This was our first experience renting a VRBO and because of this stay it will not be our last. “Very nice property perfect location for our event ”

“We were all impressed with the house and all that it offered. The only 4 star rating I gave was for online description- it said to bring your own life jackets and I don’t recall it mentioning anything about having camper chairs onsite. We ended up bringing those items, which we could have bypassed if we would have known better. Outside of that, this property was amazing. Perfect place to escape everyday busyness and enjoy your family. It was super hot when we were there, so having some indoor……
