“Everyone was very helpful and the place was very clean.”

“I arrived later night, the front desk person was called by knocking the door to process my room. Unfortunately they said there is no king size bed which I paid for. I had to sleep since next early morning had meeting,so no time to complain for 2 queen beds. Next day I asked again for king size, they changed my room to king size room. The room is good, only One noise of window. Other then that 2 issues, everything was perfect.”

“There was no water provided. The breakfast was very limited and the waiter did not greet us.”

“I frequently stop in San Jose on my way to Guanacaste. I always stay at Alta Las Palomas! Great views, delicious breakfast and dinner. Staff is always smiling and happy to help. Next time I hope to try the outdoor pool :D ”

“The hotel portal colonial is a very nice, family run hotel. The rooms are spacious with air conditioning and a free breakfast. The property is safe, secure and quiet with a pool. It is walking distance to many stores and restaurants. It is a great place to stay.”
