“The view was amazing. There was no access to the private beach as advertised due to significant damage to the stairs. The hammock had weeds growing through it and the patio furniture was pretty moss covered. We did enjoy both the outdoor and indoor fireplaces which was lovely, however we were concerned there was no smoke detectors or fire extinguisher incase of an accident. Overall it was a nice stay with outstanding sunset views. ”

“If you are not familiar with the Seattle area at all and are looking for a quiet place in a great neighborhood, this is the one. The hosts are extremely responsive and communicative and have taken great care to make sure that the place is equipped with interesting and unique touches. It really does feel like you are staying in a home, rather than a sterile setting, which some rentals have a hard time achieving. The owners are clearly genuine and nice people and that goes a long way when you are……

“The location of the property & provision for off street parking was great. A short walk through well tended/ quiet residential streets toward Green Lake was a welcomed feature after a long travel day. At the north end of the lake there are cafes and a local PCC grocery which also has a fun deli for take out items.The kitchen was stocked with dishes, flatware plus a modest bit of cookware. “Loved the views. Very quiet even with ferry departing and arriving every 1/2 hour. Loved walking the beach with my mom and toasting smores in the beach firepit. Only 4 steps to door, perfect for my disabled mother. Would totally stay here again.”

We watched river otters playing, went kayaking, and saw incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, the bay, and the sunsets from both rooms, the porch, and the large patio, the kinds of views that you could look at for hours.
