“The place is a daylight basement apartment in a quite neighborhood. The Host was extremely responisve. There are 2 things to be aware of. There is no thermostat downstairs. May not normally a problem, but it was unusually cold for Seattle and rto cold to sit when we got there, so we turned on he fireplace and the space heater, and the owners turned on the upstairs heat, which also serciced the appt, as well. “we loved this mid-century, fantasy-level retreat. Three stories, with a spa, ginormous shower, a perfect getaway for a large family or group. Big spacious rooms to share, and a sizable kitchen. Several floors offer brilliant views of both the lake and the Puget Sound & Whidbey Island: breathtaking! Everyone in our group agreed: We would all most definitely stay here again.”

“Never reserved code to door. No one answered the phone took 2 hours to get someone to respond. Got in the hours cold a small heater for the front living room. Renters down stairs loud tv all night could not sleep both nights. And dishes were put away dirty. Foot prints all over the floor. Looked like was not moped. And shower head had little water pressure ”

“Our stay was wonderful. It was nice to be able to visit our son and our granddaughter. The cottage was so cute and inviting. We sat outside and watched our granddaughter play in the playhouse. All the rooms were decorated with gnomes and mushrooms. We enjoyed our time together. Thank you for the lovely home! ”

“We had a great stay for Mother’s Day weekend. My mother is at Maple Ridge assisted facility, so it was very convenient for us. You are close to town so you can walk to many restaurants. Traffic noise is busy during the day. There is no AC, but the weather was cool enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!”

“Top-tier experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and thought went into making this rental as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The bed was incredibly cozy—I slept like a baby every night. The hot showers were a daily treat, and the patio was the perfect spot to unwind with friends. I only wish our schedule hadn’t been so packed so we could have spent more time enjoying the space. I highly recommend this rental and would absolutely stay here again!”

“We had a fine time during our holiday in Seattle. We visited with my son and his family who live five minutes away in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.The apartment is spacious and clean. There are two nice size bedrooms, tho we only used one, and our bedroom had a large walk in closet. This is a basement apartment, accessible around the back, but it’s always well lit, and the apartment is a walk out, so you don’t get that basement feeling.The kitchen is brand new, but the bathroom needs some work,……
