“Our stay at The Waterwheel was relaxing, in a beautiful garden setting. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. The food was oustanding for breafast and evening meal. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.”

“We stayed in the sea-view room on the top floor and it exceeded our expectations. Great view, clean, modern and comfortable, and impressed with the fridge, choice of teas, iron and fan. The WiFi was fast and reserved parking was easy. The breakfast was very delicious and we received top service. We also ordered the breakfast ‘to go’ bag on the second day which was efficient and thoughtfully put together. We had a sausage sandwich with fruit, yogurt and a juice. It was close and a short walk……

“Great value, cheap as chips, lovely host and hostess and ideal for the single traveller. No frills. For the single traveller walking Coast Path, it ticked every box. Ltd slot for breakfast but timings suited me.”
