“Lovely bolt hole for a few days away visiting various places in Cornwall by train and bus. Just a note to self, if we stayed another time I'd bring dry shampoo as the water pressure wasn't great for my hair. Also if you have a weak bladder, make sure you book ”

“I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. We arrived about 4pm, unpacked the car and had a Quick Look……

“The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.”

“I had a great stay there and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be much as the rate was really cheap in comparison to other hotel prices, but when I arrived I was really impressed. The hotel was in a quiet and nice location, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it had a homely vibe to it. I would definitely stay there again if I was to ever go back to that part of Cornwall. ”
