“Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“Staff were exceptional. Helpful, kind, and pleasurable to be around. We checked in around 9pm and were greeted like royalty. The room and bathroom was very clean. The AC did not make odd sounds and kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. We stay here anytime we are in the area and in need of a place to stay. ”

“I was expecting more from the room accommodations, because of the price. The restaurant was very nice with excellent service. Pricey as to be expected. However, the room was really dated and mediocre. Almost had a dingy feel. It had two landline phones, one even in the bathroom (lol), and neither worked. I drove around to 3 different locations to find ice, bc 2 out of the 3 machines were broken. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I got a really good deal. The rooms really need some……

“Hampton Inn & Suites Williamsburg-Central is really good place to stay while visiting Williamsburg! The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. I asked for a bottle of drinking water and they handed me four bottles. I needed an extra flat sheet and they provided it to me right away! We will be staying there again in future!”
