“Brilliant stay fab hotel and the food is beautiful ”

“Gorgeous castle. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious carriage room. We had a lovely evening meal in Hermione's restaurant at the clubhouse followed by drinks in the Keep bar. Breakfast the next morning was so nice. Lots to do and see. We couldn't fault it. ”

“Lovely place to stay, the lodges are separate to the castle. Short walk to the main castle And beside the restaurants. Room was spacious and the bed was big. The TV system /channels and remote not very good though. We did the small spa, which was lovely. 25 per person for an hour. Breakfast was in the castle for us as we stayed in Feb, otherwise I think the lodges are in hermiones restaurant. The breakfast was lovely. ”

“We were returning to the Heritage after getting engaged here 4 years ago. They upgraded us to a suite which was a lovely surprise and the room was fantastic. Our only issue we discovered with the hotel was the lobby and adjoining areas, including where we had afternoon tea and dinner were all a bit cold. My wife had to keep her coat on in all rooms of the hotel and though I don't normally feel the cold, had to keep a jumper on at all times. The pool area could do with a revival also, it……

“A great place close to the centre. Staff are friendly and jolly to be around.”

“The rooms are lovely and the area is really nice would definitely stay again. Couldnt figure out how to get hot water in the shower. Twice people were giving a card to our rooms by mistake and we had to tell them to go back downstairs and explain the mistake so key card distribution needs to be worked on.”

“nice place, good location. plugs beside bed didn't work, switch tripped on panel. plug in sink didn't work room heater covered by heavy curtain. no staff around to tell”

“Small room with outdated bathroom. Kind host, good breakfast. Quiet place in the middle of fields. Common areas could be cleaner. ”

“Service was fantastic! Everyone was very inviting and friendly. We stayed at the castle Dec 30th. Vivian at the front desk was great, she took our families on a ghost tour throughout the castle. The bartender, wait staff and overnight porter were great as well!”
