“After a long flight, we were very happy to be able to rest in this beautiful place. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. We arrived quite late, 6:30pm in the evening. We ate at the Avalon restaurant for supper at 7pm. The meals were wonderful. The breakfast the next morning was wonderfully good and very filling, if you have the option to pick the breakfast included in your stay, I would highly recommend it. “Beautiful well kept hotel. We stayed in one of their suites overlooking the golf course. Partial view blockage from some high shrubs. Suite was very spacious and clean. Everything worked. Service all round was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was a “cooler” which puzzled us as to what its purpose was, because it certainly neither cooled anything down or kept anything cool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat……

We stayed in Carriage Room 230, which was beautiful and had great viewst thanks to windows on all sides. Dinner at Hermione's was a real highlight — not only was the food excellent, but the view of the illuminated castle in the evening was absolutely magical.
