“Lovey hotel”

“Me and my partner were overall happy with our stay yet we both agreed that a few things could have been better. When we checked in we were told that the person helping us was unsure to give us free breakfast even though our room came with it . We got checked in and made our way to our room, which was not the one that was shown in pictures , after heading down to see what could be done we were given a new room, the new room was great and we both loved it . We found a few hairs in the shower……

“A good place for a stop over. The new owners are taking steps to renovate the property after years of neglect by the previous occupants, this will take time. But the service is good and the rooms were nice.”

“Excellent double room with a large bathroom. Good secure parking and a nice breakfast.”

“Lovely grounds and rooms. There was a wedding on which was fine aoart from some noise latecat night. The staff were great and very helpful. Tasty meal in the restaurant too”

“The room was compact, clean, had a small TV & coffee making facilities, there is a lounge area & kitchen on the same floor that we were on, although we didn’t use it I can see that would be useful, but beware if your not too mobile, there are a lot of steep stairs, also pub below is open till 12 and we did encounter a lot of noise on Sunday night, so if you’re to bed early, be warned. Bed was comfy and has a nice big shower in bathroom. ”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”
