“Surprisingly quiet despite being off the A1 the front of the property is a corridor to the rooms which offers sound protection from the A1 . The rooms overlooked a nice field with a view of the sea. The staff were friendly and a decent restaurant on site .”

Our room was really clean and comfortable and the en-suite was exceptional; we wish we could have transferred it to our own home. If we are ever in this part of the world again, there is absolutely no doubt where we would stay - at HILLCREST! “ Visited friends in Alnmouth and booked in here for 1 night. Lovely room, bed comfy, big shiwer. Breakfat topper,and the street has many bars and restaurants. The lovely coast is 5 mins walk.”

“We paid 90 pounds for a 3 single-beded room but got a 70 ponds room. The staff said it not possible to chang the room but are willing to return our money back. The staff is friendly but somehow we still frustrated about the negotiations.”
