“Stayed here for 10 days and loved it.”

“The place was a bit unclean. There was an infestation of bats near our room somewhere in the ceiling. They also need to exterminate. Lots of cockroaches. The air conditioning was good, but no blankets just a sheet.”

“We had a lovely couple of nights here. The pictures do not so the villa justice. The view is just stunning, beautiful pool overlooking the sea. There’s also a bbq you can use which was great. Jess and her team were wonderful, I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for us. We got stuck with a flat tire when we arrived and they got it all sorted for us. Anything you need, the team are on hand are communicate with you from the minute you book. ”

“We loved the grounds, so peaceful and lush. Huge variety of birds, howler monkeys in the distance each morning, incredibly kind, helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food, beverages and the best swimming pool ever!”

“Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. The only thing keeping me from returning for a whole remote work week is the internet speed. It was spotty and not reliable for a prolonged work stay.”

“This place is picturesque and has potential, but the staff was inattentive and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. We had to search the grounds for someone to come to check us in. The bartender wasn’t around for at least the first 20 mins of happy hour. We were told a lot of things were not done properly (room cleaning) or not working (hot tub) b/c of electricity issues (to be fair, it is rainy season and there were thunderstorms each night and it sounds like they were working off……

“The room was very nice and clean. I appreciated the hosts’ work to make it an enjoyable stay. The howler monkeys hooting at 5:30 am made sure I didn’t sleep in for my 7 am start at Costa Rica Dive and Surf. It was a pleasant stay. ”
