“A friend and I planned a weekend of outdoor winter hiking. This was a great place to make home base. Lots of space, clean, plenty of places to eat nearby, hot water, good shower pressure, tv reception, large table, chairs on small patio, washer and dryer. We didn’t need to use all of it, but if we had a longer stay or came with our family this would accommodate everyone. ”

“I should have read the reviews, the property is absolutely awful. There's standing water under the floorboards downstairs, the jacuzzi tubs haven't been maintained, the carpet is shabby, the fireplaces don't work, there's water damage that looks like mold on the ceiling above the stove. But all that is secondary to the bugs (live and dead) all over the place, and the mouse droppings found in the kitchen cabinets/drawers. Host was unwilling to address any of these issues, we ended up getting a……
