“Hotellet är enkelt men väldigt vackert! Det är lugnt och tyst men nära till allt i Cusco! Framförallt: Hotellets personal var helt underbar! De fanns alltid tillgängliga för oss, ställde upp och hjälpte oss med allt! De gav oss verkligen allt man kan önska - och lite till! Frukosten var fantastisk, och de ställde upp och ordnade mat åt oss fastän vi var de enda gästerna på hotellet. Personalens vänlighet var verkligen något unikt och speciellt här! Kommer definitivt tillbaka hit om jag ska……

“Warm welcome by the staff as we arrive very early in the morning, they let us to checkin earlier. So that we can enjoy a hot shower and good sleep after long flight from Hong Kong to cusco. The staff also help us to keep the luggage while we stayed two days in Machu Picchu. After we back from Machu Picchu, the luggage already in our room”

“The hotel in general is pretty well maintained. It does not have a lift, so you need to prepare to carry the luggage up to your room, yet the receptionist are able to help carrying the luggage if you ask for help. The location of the hotel is pretty well and it only takes 5 to 10 mins walk to get to the Square from the hotel. We found the hotel receptionists very helpful. My wife had her lips hurt when playing the sand boarding at Huacachina the day before getting to Cusco. The receptionist is……

“Casona La Recoleta is a wonderful place to stay at Cusco. My spouse became ill from the altitude sickness upon arrival. The staff immediate tested her blood oxygen level and offered an emergency oxygen tank to relieve her symptoms. My spouse kept on and off the oxygen without success of bringing her blood oxygen level up on her own. We ran out of the oxygen in the middle of the night, and the 24-hr onsite staff helped with another tank while I was trying to book a flight to get us down to Lima……

“Great location especially if you are acclimating. Great two room apartment for the family with the kitchen. My only issue is having to climb to the fourth floor. Very high altitude when you just get there. Only complaint.”
