“This is a very lovely ecuadorian style hotel, with very friendly staff. It has marvelous decorations all over, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot. It does not have elevators, but the staff happily carried our bags to the third floor, where our room overlooked a plaza. The breakfast was made to order with a marvelous bowl of fresh fruit. It is right in the heart of the old city and was quite safe to walk at night. It was so nice to stay in a hotel that was different from the cookie……

“Casa Anabela is in the historic centre of Quito and is walking distance to the Plaza de la Independencia and most of the major attractions in the area. Breakfast has cold and hot options. They make you eggs and coffee to your liking. The bathtub was very relaxing after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. Maria at reception was very helpful with dining options and arranging transport for us. Thank you Casa Anabela for a nice stay in Quito. ”

“Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”
