“We had a great time staying in Carlsbad for spring break; the condo is a lot bigger than it seems from photos. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to walk into town for dinner each night and the drive into San Diego proper is very quick. It was a little chilly to get in the water but we still spent some quality time at the beach just outside the condo. ”

“The property is right on the strand. There is a small road between you and the beach. There are two parking spaces in a garage below the building. The garage is gated. There are really two master suites. One is towards the back. It has a king bed and en suite bathroom. There is a small fridge and microwave. There's access to a private patio (non-ocean facing). The other master has 2Q and has a sitting area. Sliding doors open to the ocean. It has a large bathroom with tub and a shower.……

“We were two families with 3 kids between 8-11 years old and had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The place is huge and equipped with everything we could have ever needed. The terrace is relaxing and gave us amazing views and sounds of the ocean. We all lived in luxury during our stay. And it was such a plus to have two parking spaces in the garage. “We were lucky as in Sept we snuck a peek at the empty house on a family visit to the area. We have 9 family in Carlsbad-O'Side.The Beach house is just as listed, and the past 2024-25 reviews are very accurate. We found almost nothing wrong at all with the house. Some doors are hard to open and close to the patio, but we fought through it. Beds and towels are fantastic. Furniture was great and decor was very nice, and everything was very clean. Personally, if I was staying here again, I would……

“The house and location were great. We loved the views and the sounds of the ocean. Hanging around the fire pit playing trivia was a lot of fun. We enjoyed many meals and sunsets. Our miniature poodle had fun watching the many squirrels playing in the sand. Overall it was a great location to spend our 20th wedding anniversary.”

“This was a good spot. Just one block from the beach access with an adequate kitchen--we cooked every night, rarely having to make adjustments. One thing though, no dishwasher. At first it was a little surprising, but we got used to that after a day or so. Easy parking, easy highway access, easy grocery shopping, easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops. An all-around gem of a spot!”
