“This cottage has everything one needs for a lovely get-away - full kitchen, bath, king bed, wood fireplace. It is even cuter than it looks in the pictures. There is a little door off the kitchen that goes to a small private patio with a table and chairs on the west side. We went out there to look at stars after dark. For walks, although it is beautiful country, the main road has no sidewalk and is fairly busy. Otherwise, the location was very good for all the places we wanted to visit. ”

“This was a great location for our Borrego Springs stay - close enough that we could walk to town and hike the hills of the park leaving from the apartment. We cooked in most days and very much enjoyed sitting in the private backyard space to dine or just enjoy the beautiful weather. And the hot tub was a great plus!Dennis was as nice a host as we could ask for, tho he had forgotten our arrival date so our start was a little unusual! Dennis was totally on top of things after that little snafu!One……

“Cozy place to stay for the weekend. Accessing the propertty was a little difficult, i recommend packing very light as the stairs can be difficult to manage with a full size suitcase. The pool was beautiful to swim in and the cat roaming the grounds was super friendly. I could not figure out the honor bar venmo, i wish there was a QR code for the honor bar.”

“We stayed a few times at the property, both in 1Bdrm and 2Bdrm units. SD Country Estates is an older time-share property, which means that units are quite generous in size, very nice but show their age (mostly on the appliance and fixtures side). However, there are extremely clean, well-equipped and maintained, and very welcoming. Amenities are fine, the pool small but pleasant and the place quiet and relaxing. It is not easy to find (not a good idea to come after dark), quite far from the town……
