“My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage! Location is ideal for exploring Amish country and the cottage was supplied with everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“Our lodging was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed hanging out in the backyard around the fire pit watching horses play across the fields while enjoying beautiful sunsets.”

“We were only at the property one night to visit family in town. Home was clean and as described in the photos. The furniture in the living room was a bit worn but that wasn’t big deal to us. The home can accommodate a large group but be aware there is no dishwasher for a large gathering or extended stay.. We did not find street parking but the recommended parking garage was easily accessible and convenient. Host was friendly, responsive and flexible. We would book again and recommend to……

“Perfect place”

“Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the rental. As advertised & very very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc. great location to all things. Check In/out times are firm so plan accordingly. House is on a major road, be prepared for loud car noise. Other than that, I would recommend! ”

“So happy we chose this home for our home away from home for 5 nights. It’s in a great location. Away from everyone. Not far to drive to near by destinations. Plenty of beds for our family of 5. The house is very clean, had all the amenities we needed, very well stocked, very well maintained. The kids enjoyed the basketball court as well! The owner was easy to contact if we had any issues, we accidentally locked a lock we didn’t need to lol. She was very prompt! We will def be choosing this place……

“We had a great trip, 7 adults and 9 for dinner some nights. Plenty of space to relax and eat. Kitchen had a lot of work space for multiple people. We cook every night. Used the grill though this time of year gets dark early and a little tough to see though there is lighting on patio. Beds were comfortable . Plenty of linens and towels.We would recommend and return S of linens,towels. Wellcomfortable ”

“The house a perfect weekend getaway home. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect location to the coal mine museum and mine tour and the town of Jim Thorpe. The only negative thing was the main bedroom mattress was very hard and uncomfortable but overall a great stay. ”

“Nice job of remodeling an older home. Adequate for what was needed for our trip.Maybe the time of the year... Spring... but you may spray for insects inside. We did see and eliminate a good many bugs and spiders.Thanks for the stay!”
