“It was such a pleasure stay! We were staying with connecting rooms - newly refurnished, nice and clean! The bed was super comfortable ! The waterfront view looking out from the window was a bonus! The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful - offloaded our luggage’s & delivered them to our rooms straight before we got in the rooms! Will definitely come back!”

“The conditions of the room is far from satisfactory. The blind in one of our rooms was broken and I could see dead bugs on the blind. The water pressure in one of our bathrooms is not high enough so we couldn't have a proper shower in the bathroom. The water would become cold near the end of the shower. We informed the staff of these problems and they took care of them immediately. The overall experience was good, though.”

“The hotel is located in the central of Wellington, Many attractive tourist spots are within walking distance. There are fast food shops and a large supermarket just directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The hotel room, especially the bathroom with Crabtree bath amenities, is spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel was built in 1928, it has been newly renovated with a signature scent. We have enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would highly recommend it. ”

“The room was ideal and a good size for a family of 4. We didn’t realise that the only parking available was in the main street of Kilbirnie where it is located. It was a bit noisey at night from the extractor fans from the bar’s kitchen below right outside our window. Apart from that, it all went smoothly. Thanks”
