“What a gem of a find! Lovely hotel, recently refurbished from derelict and oh my what a wonderful job they have done! Decor is bright and clean. Amazing view of the bay from the huge lounge window. “The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.”

“The room was blah - not bad but nothing special, plainly decorated. Disappointed that the gym closed at 7 PM - for a spa hotel it should be open much later, many chain hotels now have 24/7 gym access. Breakfast was also unnspiring, although the service was fine. Eggs were overcooked (ordered over easy), sausages were dry, Just adequate and not up to par for a nice hotel. Nothing special, far from Wadebridge (7 miles, 16 minute drive) even though Wadebridge is in the hotel address - - I thought……
