“Loads of character, really friendly staff. Great views from room 3 which fortunately we had!”

“I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms. You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower……

“Breakfasts were superb and staff were really friendly and helpful. They clearly enjoy their work and it came across as a happy working environment which makes the guests stays all the more enjoyable. The only slight negative (of which nothing can be done) were some squeaky floorboards but, otherwise, the bedroom was comfortable and clean. It says a lot about the Broadmead that everything was great except for a couple of silly floorboards.”

“Room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable & with lovely soft pillows. Towels were soft with a very pleasant smell that filled the bathroom. Only small complaints was the lack of Decaffeinated coffee & tea sachets, which you now expect in most establishments. Also the small TV was stuck in the corner of the room, but this only a minor problem. The staff were pleasant & chatty & the breakfast was very nice. This is a very nice guesthouse in a nice area, with several self-catering cottages……

“Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended.”

“Sue on reception was fab, she took us to our room, showed us around the hotel and was very friendly. The hotel room was spacious and bed was comfy, and breakfast service was first class. Would highly recommend ”

“This small pub with 8 rooms for accommodation is an excellent base for a few days to explore some of the many highlights in this area. The pub restaurant offered a good chouce, the pub was convivial. The daily included breakfast was excellent and the server very helpful. Plenty of parking makes for a stress free experience.”
